- About Me: Elizabeth Marie Camacho, p/k/a "Eliz" ("E-leese") born March 10, 1991 in Hinsdale, Illinois is a Pop/R&B singer/songwriter and actress. She has Puerto Rican, African-American and Native-American ancestry. She is the only child of a single-parent home, raised by her mother who works as a social worker. Elizabeth began acting and took an interest in becoming a model at age four. Elizabeth's musical roots stem back to the church. She sang in the church children's choir, youth choir and praise team. She wrote and sang her first song publicly titled "Lift Him Higher" at age seven. Throughout Elizabeth's entire schooling, she participated in chorus and theatre. Her sixth grade music teacher noticed her "gift" for singing and encouraged her to compete in the National Honors Chorus competition. Elizabeth has captured the attention of many making her very first ever staduim performance with a distinct group of singers selected to sing the National Anthem during President Obama's rally
